No your the moron , saying they don't punish school when they don't know. Ok by your words unc said they didn't know what was going on so unc needs no punishment because they didn't know. Lance Thomas case don't matter if dook payed for it, jewelry store owner gave Thomas jewelry on a loan for future payment which is a violation because it wasn't offered to all students---- ncaa rules not mine------. Dook still played him. Coach k broke rule talking to recruit before rule changed which is cheating and breaking ncaa rule no matter how you look at it. You and other fans say not ncaa problem Unc didn't know , it's there job. So if true ncaa needs to go vacate dook 2010 title and 1999 runner up wins from both seasons and postseason bans going forward for dook cheating

New Findings Likely to Delay NCAA Process

UNC was set to submit and release its notice of allegations response early next week.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Only a few days before North Carolina was to submit and release its response to the NCAA's notice of allegations, new findings are likely to put the process on hold.

North Carolina is expected to announce on Friday that it is self-reporting to the NCAA new violations that will require an NCAA inquiry, sources confirm to Inside Carolina.

One of the items is connected with Wainstein Report discoveries, according to sources, while the other is unrelated to the current NCAA investigation and has to do with an Olympic sport.

UNC announced that the NCAA had reopened its 2011 examination of academic irregularities in June 2014. The University received its notice of allegations on May 20, 2015, and had 90 days (Aug. 18) to respond.

Lance Thomas you have 0 proof, cory was in hs at the time and duke was unaware. They have neverrrrr punished a school in those cases when the school wasn't aware. The text was a minor violation, a lvl 3 which at worst is a 1000 fine... in fact the next year the rule was removed....now, please explain the 1481 pending ncaa infractions, 5 lvl 1 infractions and 52 criminal charges in the last 4 years.....lol see how ridiculous this argument is.....your a complete and utter fing moron..... again you have nothing to stand on, you're school is facing more charges than the entire acc combine, CAROLINA WAY LOLOLOL

Compareing what? Rumors not--- the 3 cases I told - lance thomas----correy maggette----k-rat talking to recruits before aau tourney were all fact. Each one a ncaa, violation that dook got by with. Guess coach k and Dook not as clean of program as you thought. You say,unc are cheaters, I say dook are cheaters

Devilnation

Please remind me how a program facing countless criminal charges and 5 ncaa lvl 1 fractions isn't above and beyond anything any other school is doing... you're trying to couple a guy who steals a loaf of breed as the same as someone committed mass murder...society doesn't work that way, nor should it. Unc has set the bar for criminal and fraudulent activity, currently nobody is even in the same ball park....you're response is nu uh.....or hey what about those rumors 27 years ago lolol ****s comical, carolina way Is a bad joke.

You are a dumb@$$ , you get dumber by each post. Never said unc didn't do wrong. You said they knew what was going on, yet you say dook didn't. Was you there at unc or dook? No. You lied said not a ncaa violation for program, which it is a violation. Same with Thomas getting jewelry while playing. I said before they all do fishy stuff dook and state and unc and everyone else. I watch sports for sports, careless about academic side --- has nothing to do with the fans , up to school and students to make that side right. Tom Brady and team that's cheating, doing things on fleid or court to change outcome or advantages in play. Unc didn't cheat there , basketball players had enough credits to play. Next Tuesday a step father in getting all this over

So again this true non edited material....at what point does unc faithful realize that there is truly a problem at unc with its integrity, leaders and morals....I understand every school has its problem, but when it's every other day fraud rape assault arrest etc etc I would begin to question my own allegiance... be honest unc fans if you had a kid that was talented enough to play collegiatly would you not try to ver them in another direction. Just saying

Charges of sexual harassment against Norwood Teague at the University of Minnesota led to his abrupt resignation last week as athletics director.

Teague, a Raleigh native, apologized for his "offensive behavior." He said he had a problem with alcohol and pledged to seek professional help.

The charges came as a jolt to some of Teague's friends and peers. Teague, 49, was AD at Virginia Commonwealth before being hired by Minnesota in 2012 and also spent five years as associate AD at North Carolina.

"He was a dedicated, hard-working person who seemed to have his values in the right place," former UNC athletics director D*** Baddour said Tuesday.

But Teague's image and reputation have been stained by the recent complaints. Two University of Minnesota employees said Teague sexually harassed and groped them, and one said she received sexually explicit texts from Teague.

Amelia Rayno, a reporter with the (Minneapolis) Star-Tribune who covers Minnesota athletics, also accused Teague of sexual harassment.

TO ME HE WAS A VALUE-ORIENTED PERSON, SO I'M TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED. I AM SHOCKED.
Former UNC AD D*** Baddour on Norwood Teague

The Star-Tribune reported Tuesday that Teague, while AD at Virginia Commonwealth, faced a gender discrimination complaint in 2012 from former women's basketball coach Beth Cunningham. The complaint was settled for $125,000.

No complaints were made against Teague at UNC, according to his university public personnel file. Teague, a 1988 UNC graduate, handled the Tar Heels' sports marking and multimedia properties in 2001-06.

"There were never any issues raised at all not a hint of one," Baddour said.

Baddour said he has spoken with Teague since his resignation Friday. So has former N.C. State athletics director Todd Turner, a Raleigh native who is Teague's first cousin.

"I truly regret this for the women who were involved," Baddour said. "I regret it for Norwood, as well. He was well-liked, well-meaning. To me, he was a value-oriented person, so I'm terribly disappointed. I am shocked.

"It's a tough time for him, but there is no excuse for what's gone on. Obviously he has an alcohol issue to deal with, but acknowledging it is no excuse. I hope he has gotten the courage to get his life together."

Teague sought to emulate Turner, who was AD at Connecticut, Vanderbilt and Washington in addition to N.C. State. Said Turner, "He followed the path I took."

Turner, like Baddour, has been a mentor for Teague at times. In the past few days, he said he has tried to be supportive.

"I think he has been forthright in dealing with where he is with his life," Turner said Tuesday. "Can he get back on a college campus? I don't know. We'll see how he reacts to this. I am proud of him standing up and saying, I have issues and I need to get my life straight before I worry about my career.'"

While not justifying Teague's actions, Turner said the demands on an athletics director at a major university are many and that having a supportive family away from the job helps ease the pressure of those demands. Teague is not married.

Teague could not be reached Tuesday for comment and has not spoken to the media since his resignation.

I AM PROUD OF HIM STANDING UP AND SAYING, I HAVE ISSUES AND I NEED TO GET MY LIFE STRAIGHT BEFORE I WORRY ABOUT MY CAREER.'
Former N.C. State AD Todd Turner, who is Teague's first cousin

In an interview with The News & Observer during a visit to Raleigh last year, Teague talked of playing football at Athens Drive High and his desire to get into athletic administration.

Teague, a quarterback at Athens Drive, said he briefly considered playing Division III football but followed family tradition by going to UNC. He was an intern in UNC's sports information office, then he later coached and taught in high school.

Teague earned a graduate degree in sports administration from Ohio University and was an assistant AD at Virginia and Arizona State before being hired by Baddour at UNC in 2001. As athletics director at VCU, Teague brought in Shaka Smart as men's basketball coach the Rams reached the NCAA Final Four in 2011 and improved facilities before leaving for Minnesota.

The Star-Tribune reported that former Minnesota associate AD Regina Sullivan filed a federal complaint against the university after being fired in October 2012. In the complaint she said Teague expected her to "take a passive role and defer to men's opinions" on Title IX issues and that Teague fired her because she questioned his commitment to Title IX.

The newspaper reported the university and Sullivan reached a $175,000 settlement in 2014.

Rayno, in a story Tuesday in the Star-Tribune, said Teague made sexual advances to her in December 2013. She said Teague entered a cab with her, then he pushed against her in the cab. The advances, she wrote, were made after a going-away party for a university communications director.

Teague issued a statement Friday saying he was embarrassed and that his behavior "neither reflects my true character nor the values of the University."

Lol explain what coach k, knew? Lol you continue to lie and adlib the truth.

You can't suspend a player for something he didn't do lol, your ignorance knows no limits does it.

PJ Hairston had already accepted the stuff from fats the prior year, wtf are you even talking about...do you check into anything or just wing it and lie and prove yourself to be a ignorant sob at every opportunity. Unc didn't vacate the wins for the prior year did they....

Posted 1:41 pm, 08/13/2015

Lol I said I admitted I read it wrong. But your lieing now saying it's not a program problem. P j hairston sit out his season. Maggette played that season. So unc got punished by there best player not playing, dook didn't get anything. Funny how you think unc knew but dook didn't lol. Like k-rat knew about saluimon and played him anyway so yes dook knew. Dook is cheaters

DevilNation

Posted 11:46 am, 08/13/2015

You said he admitted in a interview duke knew....I'm still waiting on interview? Or you going to admit you lied and he never admitted...

It's not a program violation for kids who go off the reservation, pj Hairston ring a bell, Jerry Stackhouse rashad the list goes on on and on for unc...

The difference in lies, unc created the program to keep athletes eligible so there for you can't deny they knew... Deb crowder already admitted this, this isn't something that's even deniable.

Again as you have said before, knew or not it's still huge violation. So dook cheated by playing him, as you said unc knew, I say Dook knew. The main subject being dook got away with ncaa violation

DevilNation

You said in a interview a player admitted duke knew... you lied, i asked for the video. Pretty simple stuff.

Like I've said, if I research and find I'm wrong I'll admit it. Correy maggette admitted to taking payments. Dook said they didn't know Lol. If you believe that to be the truth how come You blame unc for not knowing? Fact is they got away with ncaa violation for a huge violation. Plus this with lance thomas case and that's 2 major violations right there. Add the violation of talking to recruits before aau tourney was, over -- which coach k said he forgot lol, That's 3 ncaa violations k and dook broke and got away with. No debunking them 3 violations. So dook are a bunch of cheaters
