I don't know who started the fight. But I know 2 boys quit from West Jacob Wood and Randall Trapp last night was there last game. They lost 2 great players last night. I got messages asking if Randall quit call his mom or him he's done with football. He told the players he was done. I'm a football players dad and he told my son he was done.

I am a West fan and I must say it was a poor showing. Wilkes Central ruled the field last night. West did not show up like I have seen them play before. It would be easy to blame the coaches, but I think it is a mixture of things. One, it is hard to move the ball up the middle every time with the same two players. Two, lobbing the ball into an open field is not the way a passing game is played. Players must play as a team and realize they are playing another team and not against each other. If you have fast runners on the opposing team, use some of your fast player to run them down. Both teams should learn that tackling by the neck is much harder than wrapping up their legs. It looks good to bump them and watch them fall over but sometimes they just roll off and keep running. That is a problem I see in all the teams. Just my opinion I am still a Hawk fan.

How many people got ejected in that fight?

Central has a very good JV team. Would be even better if Tyler Boles didn't transfer to North. He is their JV RB. Hopefully he moves back.

Seen both at West Wilkes's scrimmage.

I'm pulling for West but they probably won't win if it comes down to athletes. Central just has too many for them to handle. However if it comes down to Football technique and team play I could see West hanging in there. Central should have won at least once but their coaching did them in, if they continue to coach like that I can see it continuing.

The JV matchup will be good as well. Seen West's squad and they had some big and tall boys. Didn't see Central's but they have athletes I'm sure.

Actually west has a few great players with speed. Triplett Walsh Trapp Gambill Caudill n Howell but they need coaches. They lost some great players also D***on & Edminston. So let's not down West cause Central is just as bad!!!

Easy to answer. Central will win. West just does not have the talent quality to compete. Your Senior QB is the only thing you have and we will contain him.

I have not mentioned any student-athletes and will never, but simply stating a fact. I really don't see any ignorance in that except the person who call me that. You don't know me, so don't assume you understand me, you what they say about the word ASSUME! When I say "don't care" I know a lot more about the workings or lack of , concerning the people who run the show. Turn you your attention to them. I also restate this a sports forum, in which I have a right to me opinion and your personal attacks are unjustified!
