And btw guru the N.Surry team that spanked yall was down 13-12 at the half against Elkin..There is not 1 given win in this conference..the parity of the conferences top 4 or 5 teams is at a level where no one can really say outright who will win from week to week...im sure you guys honestly didnt think you would beat WC by 28...but defintely props to you guys for doing it...Im sure it shocked a lot of people...me included..so good luck..except against these other wilkes county teams...

As far as a real test...EW is very capable of beating either of the teams that you mentioned guru..lets take a look at something....who has Ashe played with an actual pulse..and please dont say N.surry or Alexander Central..or Watauga...lol all will bow out in the 1st rd of playoffs....As far as starmount...didnt Mt.Airy hold them to 2 pts....Didnt Surry Central skunk Mt.Airy and beat them by 3 tds....didnt Ew beat Surry Central by 5 tds and called off the dogs.....just food for thought...Every team you mentioned is waaaay beatable this year if they have an off game....EW will surprise 1 two or maybe all of those teams...and i will be here to laugh...i will also enjoy crow dinner if all 3 teams win....but you can forget either of those teams beating East as bad as Ashe handled central...so...maybe WC impressed you...idk..but youre sure hanging your hat on em...you beat them by 4 tds..and now you are singing their praises about them beating EW...kind of shows how weak your team in Ashe really is...Starmount will more than likely smack you around this year like they did last year as well...Good luck....Win or lose...EW will be just fine..and stand just as good...a chance as Ashe of getting out of the 1st rd....wait a minute...they have a better chance.

By the time Ashe,Central and Starmount whip up on you there won't be much left for us to deal with!! Starts out 7-0 (playing youth league type teams) finishes 7-4 (after playing varsity level teams) in the middle of the pack. But that's where we all had you picked to finish!!

East will compete and has a great chance of beating any of the teams mentioned...All Ashe needs to worry about is not bowing out in the 1st round with their 1000 kid 1 county team. You should win by considerable margins being that you guys and Alleghany dont have to share kids with other schools in your respective counties. Btw you guys havent played world beaters by any stretch. All the teams that have beaten you will not make it out of the 1st round of state playoffs mark it down

You also need to know how inflated those defensive stats are as well. It's easy to have great statistics on defense when you don't play any competition. Look on max preps, they have a strength of schedule as pat of their ranking system. East Wilkes is easily in the top 10 in the state for the worst strength of schedule. But hey, it's all good, feel good about yourselves now because you won't feel good later in the conference season. East will loose their 4 conference games finishing the year with Ashe Co,Starmount, WIlkes Central and then West.

NChunter you need to know what the 2nd in the state ranking is , it's team defense, not overall ranking.
