Unless he has a felony, that would be the only discipline issue that would keep him out. If he can show proof of residence in the WC district, from my understanding, he can play immediately.

E.Wilkes JV is looking poised to do well in the MVAC.. They are currently 2-0 with huge wins over South Stokes 48-13 and West Davidson 46-0 both on the road. East seems to have plenty of depth with over 40 players on the roster..the back ups are getting plenty of action as both games have been over by halftime....i see good things on the horizon for them...they definitely look like a team to be reckoned with in the conference thus far....they're very fun to watch.

Must have been a thriller.
North Surry 27, Elkin 0
Elkin never gave up but they will be young this year. All their stars graduated to varsity so they will miss them.

Anyone know anything about Elkin's JV team? From what I seen a lot of the sophomores got moved up to varsity.

Ashe is a VERY young and small team, consisting of almost all Freshman and most of them never leave the field, so it looks to be a building year for Ashe, but I think in the long run... they will be a team to look for in the coming years! They have got to build their defense and based on their numbers... probably build some stamina. It will be interesting to see how this team evolves throughout the season.

A year makes a big difference. The offense Turner brought with him looks a lot better with some continuity. Hoping the varsity team enjoys the same success.

Dub-C does have a lot of young talented players on JV but I don't see them staying on JV long. I wish that wasn't the case because they may not play a down on Varsity but to secure depth, I see a couple of skill players moving up after the next couple of games.
I hope I am wrong!!! Either way, good start to the year!!!
