East JV has a very deep squad this year all the way around. They totally two platoon and stay fresh on both sides of the ball. So far they have wasted a ton of energy. It seems they make the stops on defense with a lot of 3 and outs. Then the offense goes to work pretty methodically and wear opposing defenses down.

Being a Central fan, I hate to predict an East win but I think they have a few more key underclassmen left down on the JV level. I know Vestal, Wood and the Couch kid are all up and doing well on varsity but I think the difference will be in the trenches (linemen). Too many of the lineman underclassman are up for Central and this is where East has been dominating teams on the JV level.

East should win. I don't put a lot of stock in JV. I know both teams have a lot of underclassmen on varsity. I think East wins the JV game and Central wins the varsity game.

SportsMom..i will venture to say that E.Wilkes jv will blow every team out..Wilkes Central will be the only challenge...as they are still undefeated as well.

I came on here to post the East Wilkes Vs Ashe game score, but someone else already did, lol ... I'm very curious, what are all the other JV teams looking like for the standings? Who do you think the players of the season has been so far?

East Wilkes JV continues on a season full of lopsided wins....They are a very deep athletic team...the future looks good in their hands...i see them running the table...with wc being their only real challenge...just my take....

Does anyone have the scores from the Ashe vs. Alleghany and West Wilkes JV games?
Compiling standings from area conferences and Max Preps doesn't have those two games scores. Thanks.

topflight, I love following East JV as well! They are awesome! They have a great offense, and an even better defense! Lovelace, Mullis, and Smoot are unstoppable, you can't get through them! I agree they are very fun to watch!
