Game over! Ashe is good however they will lose to the first solid team they face in the playoffs. WC needs to improve in every facet. West Wilkes must suck....

I bet if you look at the stats our total offense is in the negative. Wouldn't have even scored the six if Ashe doesn't fumble the punt. They probably felt sorry for us since our fans started leaving in the second qtr.

Probably the 5 sophomores starting on offense...and the 4 starting on D...that's all! WC has had the ball numerous times deep inside Ashe's territory. I'm here too...quit lying.

I haven't seen one thing that makes me think that the future is bright for Wilkes central. It may be bright if you are counting negative running plays

ach, fair enough. however Central runs a completely new offense opposed to years past...and you will not stop #10...nobody has been able to all year and #23 will get his. Central will score 20+. I guarenee it. Ashe hasn't blew anyone out so far. All of Ashe's games have been close and they haven't blew anyone out or been in postion to blow anyone out. So I seriously doubt Ashe wins by "whatever they want". Ashe caught Watauga with numerous injuries. Like I said Ashe wins, by a 2-3 TD's but they will not blow out WC. Ashe is a great team and I wish them luck but they are not world beaters.

usa to be honest this is the best mix an match of size and speed you have seen this year. I know Hibriten has some speed but Ashe has both, this year is not the year for people to say we have to much speed for Ashe.

I believe it however Ashe is not going to stop Central from scoring. Way too much speed for Ashe to contain. I think Ashe will win however it isn't going to be 49-7 or anything like that. I'm thinking 38 - 22 something like that.

W.C. needs to hope it rains with a lot of wind. Ashe plays 5 wide as much as 4. The quarterback has a strong arm and gets the ball out very quickly! They played the best defense in conference last week and was barely stowed down. They will simply dominate Central along with all the other teams in conference!!!

Ashe plays 4 wide in their system. I don't know if 8 in the box will work because the focus of Ashe is to throw throw throw. 4-3 because you still want to pressure the QB and try to force him to make bad throws. Ashe really likes to Nickel and dime down the field and doesn't really throw over the top too much. Man coverage with a safety over the top is the best bet in my opinion. Play the sticks and keep everything in front of you.

Centrals Outside Linebackers are good athletes and can cover pretty well. This game could be pretty interesting.

If the Eagles play with 8 in the box and stops the run while forcing Ashe to pass they do have the athletes to cover their wideouts man to man. I know its easier said than done because Ashe is big up front and have big strong running backs that are hard to bring down. With a few breaks here and there Central could keep it close however i see Ashe pulling away at the end when the Eagles wear down and get tired.

I think their only common opponent so far is Watauga. Ashe beat Watauga @ Watauga and the Pioneers dismantled Central at WC. Of course there's only so much that can be said for common opponents. Different games, circumstances, etc. If Ashe is on it will be a long night, but in a rivalry game like this never underestimate the ability of the underdog to play up. But the smart money say Ashe by at least two TD's.
