What was the final score from the Ashe vs Elkin JV Game?
Last I seen on Max Preps Elkin was leading near the end of the game but it was never updated afterwards.

Great Job East. Lets keep up the hardwork and workman like type approach. You guys were a great team and super fun to watch. Thanks for an enjoyable season. Your hard work truly paid off.

Thoughts on East's last JV game this coming Thursday? I've not seen too much about West this year. I know last year the beat East 55-0 ... I'd love to see East finish their season undefeated

Both teams played hard...refs had issues..but the teams played the game. Good efforts by both, but someone has to lose.

Youre right CWMSFAN..great game by both teams and hard fought. I will probably speak for most EW JV fans...it was refreshing to see a great game that wasnt over by the 1st qtr. The game was action packed. That Offense that central runs does a great job of exposing any weak areas of a teams secondary unit. They have to be pretty disciplined to run that no huddle system. Both teams are impressive. Could there be a changing of the guard? Could Wilkes teams stay on this level and expect these results year in and year out? I mean 3 out of 4 teams have beaten Starmount and Elkin jv teams. Two out of Four have knocked off Starmount. Its a good time for football for these Wilkes teams as a whole. Its time for Yadkin and Surry county to see Wilkes as competitors not just given wins year in and year out. Congrats to all Wilkes teams.

Quit whining about refs, the game was awesome and the kids poured their heart into it. Congrats to East on this. This is just how you hope 2 undefeated teams play each other. A different play here or there could have made a difference for either team.
On another note, I watched a JV team last year finish 10-0 and that same team on the varsity level will be very fortunate to finish .500 this year so what we should be hoping for is that these 2 teams will sustain their success and not hang their hats on a great JV season.

areyouthere you need o wake up. The ball broke the goal line on tat last East touchdown before being fumbled. Those refs were obviously for central -they should've had a delay of game called on that last td as the clock had expired and then they gave a time out to them. what a joke!!

This was East's toughest game this season. Not only were they playing against the only other undefeated team, but they were also playing against the refs. There were so many bad calls all night. In the end, East's Defense was able to stop Central from tieing the game or winning. Both teams fought hard, but I believe the better team did win. Go Cardinals!

Central fought hard. The better team def won tonight. The refs were atrocious and basically ushered Central jvs down the field with all the flags all night. If central had a rushing game and the refs had a clue then the game would have been a lot better. Centrals no huddle offense is kind of nice tho. Keeps you very off balance.

LOL!! Areyouthere Was you there?? Must have saw it different than everyone else . Absolutely no way you could have known if East got it in or not. The white line is a touchdown!!! What fumbled snap?? Or are you talking about the Central Fumble and second chance they gave them ?? Great Game from Both sides Just Give Credit where credit is due....

I hate to take that win that way we never had the ball on the last touchdown we got lucky.We fumble on the snap and central fell on it and also we didn't even cross the goal line anyway but let's give a big thanks to the refs😏😏😏😏😏

areyouthere, have you had a chance to watch East JV? They have had a lot of sacks in the backfield this season, along with Lovelace getting 2 Defensive Touchdowns this season due to blocking the punts. They have given up very few first downs to their opponents all season. They have allowed I believe 34 points total scored on them in the 8 games played so far.

East JV is also good at stopping pass plays ... I think East has a good chance of winning this one, but you never know ... We will see Thursday night. I can't wait to watch this game!

I dont think central will have a lot of time to pass. East jv d is pretty aggressive and they stay in the backfield.

If Lovelace and Smoot keep up the way they've been playing defense on JV, I think East can keep the points Central scores to a minimum
